Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) wants to enter the bottled iced tea industry this coming summer with the relaunch of “Brew House”. According to data from the commerce ministry, the company was approved for the trademark on July 23, 2025, and it is anticipated that the brand would be revived in the next two months. In 2024, the brand was purchased by the oil-to-retail company for an unknown sum.Reliance to Introduce Iced Tea in Two FlavoursThe iced teas would be introduced in two flavours: lemon and peach, with a 200 ml bottle starting at INR 20. According to media sources, the product was initially planned to be launched for INR 10 for a 200 ml bottle. But now that the goods and services tax (GST) has been recast, the ready-to-drink market is subject to the higher rate of 40%. Therefore, the business chose to begin with INR 20 instead. A media house also received confirmation from several distributors that “Brew House” will debut in the upcoming two months.
