Sanofi, a French pharmaceutical giant, will increase its long-term presence in India by adding more than 4,500 jobs to its workforce at its global capabilities center (GCC) in Hyderabad. There are more than 2,600 people working at the centre right now. A “multi-hundred-million” investment will fund the expansion, according to the corporation, though it did not reveal the actual amount or a date for the hiring. This action expands upon Sanofi’s previous pledge. A strategic shift towards developing high-value operations in the country was signalled in 2024 when the business announced plans to invest 400 million euros (approximately $474.6 million) in its India GCC by the end of the decade.Details of Sanofi’s ExpansionSanofi Healthcare India announced in a statement that the new positions will cover a wide range of areas.
