India’s gaming market is on a steep growth curve. It is expected to grow from $5.02 Bn in 2026 to $9.9 Bn by 2031, powered by an estimated base of 591 Mn active gamers and counting. Mobile already accounts for more than 55% of the country’s total gaming market size in 2025. But when it first took off in 2018, driven by high-intensity multiplayer titles like PUBG Mobile, finding reliable mobile gaming gear was not easy. While players spent hours competing on their phones, the accessories market lagged. Indian gamers were largely left with two options: expensive global brands or low-quality local products that failed to withstand long, intensive sessions. This prompted Aamir Malik, an electronics and communications engineer and an MBA with a deep interest in gaming, to start SpinBot in 2019. Instead of chasing the crowded PC peripherals space, he wanted to equip mobile-first Indian gamers and set out to develop products like gaming triggers, mobile cooling systems and finger sleeves.
