On February 18th, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced its intention to form a joint venture with Nvidia, a chipmaking giant. This JV will be formed to construct a sovereign AI manufacturing infrastructure in India on a gigawatt scale. Day three of the AI Impact Summit was when the announcement was made. The business stated in a filing with the stock exchange that the joint will build data center infrastructure that is AI-ready.Furthermore, it will construct state-of-the-art computing infrastructure to handle massive workloads in industries including healthcare, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, finance, and public administration.
