Fintech startup AssetPlus has raised INR 175 Cr (around $21 Mn) in a funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners to enhance the tech infrastructure of its mutual fund distribution platform, expand its product portfolio as well as strengthen its wealth management offerings. “We are building wealth management infrastructure that combines human advice with technology-led scale. This capital allows us to accelerate that vision alongside investors who believe in strengthening India’s wealth ecosystem for the long term,” AssetPlus cofounder and CEO Vishranth Suresh said. Founded in 2016 by Suresh and Awanish Raj (CTO), AssetPlus facilitates mutual fund distributors (MFDs) and financial advisors by giving them digital tools and infrastructure to expand their businesses more efficiently. It enables MFDs to distribute mutual funds, insurance, NPS and other financial products through a single dashboard. The platform helps them scale digitally, access multiple AMCs, improve advisory quality and earn via transaction-linked commissions, while keeping the service free for distributors and investors.
