Flipkart Group on Tuesday announced two senior leadership appointments as it looks to strengthen governance, operational rigor, and long-term scalability across its core businesses, in line with global best practices.Jason Chappel has joined the company as Vice President, Group Controller, while Amer Hussain has been appointed Vice President, Supply Chain – Grocery & Minutes.In his role, Amer Hussain will lead supply chain strategy for Flipkart’s Grocery and Minutes businesses, focusing on scaling infrastructure and operations in line with growth, improving service levels, driving cost efficiencies, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. He brings over 25 years of global experience across organisations such as The Coca-Cola Company, Jubilant FoodWorks, and Reliance Consumer Pvt Ltd, with expertise spanning large-scale, multi-site operations, agile supply chain network design, cost transformation, digital initiatives, and sustainability.Jason Chappel, Vice President, Group Controller, will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across Flipkart’s operations, aligned with global controllership standards.
