Listed consumer internet company Info Edge yesterday said that a designated “person” inadvertently shared the company’s unaudited draft financial results for the quarter ended December 2025 with an “outsider”. In a filing with the exchanges, Info Edge clarified that the information was meant to be sent to the company statutory auditors, but was accidentally emailed to an external person. Noting that the data file was password-protected, the company added that the password to access the draft results was not included in the “inadvertent” email. “We would like to inform you that today (i.e. January 28, 2026 at 5:41 PM), the company was made aware that a designated person of the company inadvertently sent an email to an outsider containing the password protected unaudited draft financial results of the company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025, while attempting to send it to the statutory auditors of the company,” said Info Edge in the filing.
