IPO-bound quick commerce firm Zepto has selected eight startups for the first cohort of its Zepto Nova innovation programme, which aims to provide market access and logistics support to early-stage manufacturers, the company said on Monday.The startups, chosen from 49 applications, will gain access to Zepto's delivery network and consumer base. The cohort includes companies working on products ranging from artisanal chocolates to aloe vera-based batteries.Zepto Nova was launched under a partnership with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, a government body that supports startup development in India."By enabling these founders with go-to-market opportunities and visibility, we aim to play a meaningful role in supporting homegrown brands for the future," said Vinay Dhanani, president of supply chain and category at Zepto.The selected startups include Milleto Nutto, Aloe Ecell, Flavours of Calicut, Thy Chocolates, No Cap Foods, Nesta Toys, Watch Out, and Makerverse. Indian Railways is embarking on one of its most ambitious rail infrastructure upgrades in recent years, with a plan to renew more than 7,900 km of track over the next two years. The initiative aims to strengthen the backbone of the nation’s transport network, enhance safety standards, and improve operational speeds for both passenger and freight trains nationwide. Renewing Nearly 8,000 km of Tracks Track renewal refers to the systematic replacement and strengthening of worn rails, sleepers, ballast, and associated components to restore and improve track quality. In the fiscal year 2024–25, Indian Railways completed renewal work on around 6,851 km of track. Currently in 2025–26, over 7,500 km of track renewal work is actively in progress. The latest company’s Q3 FY26 investor presentation revealed that Reliance’s quick commerce business JioMart clocked a daily order run rate of 1.6 million by the end of December 2025. Jiomart Becomes The Second-largest Quick Commerce Player in India  This is a significant achievement as the brand marked a sharp 53% quarter-on-quarter jump and an over 360% year-on-year growth in average daily orders. In comparison to its peers Blinkit averaged around 2.4 million daily orders in the July-September quarter and Swiggy Instamart handled about 1.1 million. Reliance said JioMart is now India’s second-largest quick commerce player by order volume, trailing Blinkit  based on these numbers. During the quarter, this company added 5.9 million new customers with its overall customer base expanding 43% year-on-year. So far, the company’s registered customer base expanded to 378 million. Rs 25,000 Cap On UPI Withdrawal Of Provident Fund (PF) Speculated

Over 8 crore contributing members of the retirement fund body Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will soon be able to withdraw their funds using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) via the BHIM app from the coming April. Enabling EPF Withdrawals Using UPI By April This Year  With the use of this new facility, EPFO contributing members can witness their available balance, which will be segregated to show the eligible balance for withdrawal and the minimum 25% balance separately. They have an internal discussion converging towards capping the initial withdrawal at Rs 25,000 per transaction, according to a senior government official reportedly. Further adding, “Work is going on for the development of the entire system. Three parties are involved in the development of the system — EPFO, C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing), and the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) and there is also involvement of the State Bank of India for payment coordination.
