New 24-Coach Vande Bharat Sleeper To Have AC Pantry, 1224 Berths!

Indian Railways is gearing up for a major upgrade to its premium train offerings with plans to introduce a 24-coach version of the Vande Bharat Sleeper. This move comes in response to strong passenger demand for enhanced long-distance services that combine comfort, speed, and capacity — bridging the gap between day-time premium and overnight travel options. Bigger Train, More Berths The latest proposal significantly increases seating and sleeping capacity compared with existing Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. The current 16-coach configuration offers around 823 berths, whereas the newly planned 24-coach train will have 1,224 berths, adding 401 more spaces for passengers. This jump aims to accommodate more travellers on busy overnight corridors. Pantry Car and Passenger Comfort A notable feature of the 24-coach design is the inclusion of a dedicated AC pantry car. This will enhance onboard catering, allowing passengers access to fresh meals and beverages on long journeys without relying solely on station vendors. Additionally, the train’s interiors will be designed with passenger comfort in mind, including ergonomically laid-out berths, improved luggage space, and modern amenities. Design and Production Timeline The 24-coach Vande Bharat Sleeper is currently in the design stage, with railway officials targeting rollout of a prototype by…  Read MoreBusiness Archives - Trak.in - Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

Mumbai Bans Large Vehicles From Feb 1: Check What’s Allowed, What’s...

The Mumbai Traffic Police have rolled out a fresh advisory effective 1 February targeting congestion and bottlenecks in busy parts of the city. The focus is on managing the flow of large vehicles — such as heavy goods carriers, trucks, and commercial transport — which are known to slow traffic in narrow areas and contribute to jams during peak times. These restrictions are part of broader efforts to enhance road safety, reduce delays for daily commuters, and bring predictability to traffic movement in and around busy commercial and residential hubs. Large Vehicle Bans During Peak Hours Under the new advisory, large vehicles may be restricted from entering certain arterial roads during peak traffic hours, especially in central and high-density zones. While specific road names may vary or get updated by police notifications, the core goal is to keep busy corridors free from slow-moving heavy traffic that causes headaches for local motorists and public transport. Commuters driving large vehicles should check official Mumbai Traffic Police channels for designated times and alternate routes to comply with the advisory. Route Diversions Announced Traffic authorities are also implementing diversions on key stretches where congestion has historically peaked. These diversions help reroute traffic — especially…  Read MoreBusiness Archives - Trak.in - Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

Create Coloring Books On MS Paint With AI Prompts: Find Out...

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was recently in the news when he went on record saying that AI still needs to prove its worth if society is to adopt it long-term. Microsoft Launching AI Generated Colouring Books Moving ahead, he said that he presumably thinks his company has cracked it with its latest innovation: AI coloring books. It appears that a new Microsoft Paint feature is currently rolling out to Windows Insiders which basically allows users to generate coloring book pages based on the text prompt they enter.  Microsoft has already commenced the rolling out a fresh set of updates to two of the most familiar apps on Windows, Paint and Notepad, giving them artificial intelligence features that mark a noticeable shift from their traditionally simple roles.  Reportedly, Paint is receiving one of the more eye-catching upgrades having a new feature called ‘colouring book’ which allows users to generate black-and-white colouring pages using simple text prompts. This feature is available in Paint version 11.2512.191.0, the feature can be accessed through the Copilot menu. 97% Drop In Arrival Of Foreign Students In Canada Shocks Everyone

In recent times, Canada has recorded a sharp decline in new international student arrivals mostly owing to the federal government tightened controls on study permits as per the latest data released by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Canada Witnessing A Decline In Student Visas  It appears that only 2,485 new study permits were issued in November 2025 as indicated in IRCC’s monthly figures. This holds a significance as it is marking one of the lowest monthly totals in recent years contrasting the 95,320 study permits which were issued in December 2023, a peak month ahead of winter intakes.  The comparison has led to reports of a 97% decline in new student arrivals. Basically, the “new student arrivals” data is based on study permits issued in a given month, not the number of students physically entering Canada, said IRCC. According to the department, they count approvals that result in a study permit during that month.  Please note that the extensions, asylum claimants and existing students are excluded. Why Would This Happen? This data is designed to show new pressure on housing and public services, rather than the total number of international students already living in the country, IRCC stated. Moving…  Read MoreBusiness Archives - Trak.in - Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups
