Amazon Will Deploy AI Tools To Speed Up Movie Production In Hollywood

The time has came when Hollywood fears that AI will cut jobs and permanently reshape the industry as Amazon, opens new tab plans to use artificial intelligence to speed up the process for making movies and TV shows. How Did This Happen? As we know that the Amazon MGM Studio veteran entertainment executive, Albert Cheng is leading a team charged with developing new AI tools that will cut costs and streamline the creative process.  They are already working on a time where Amazon plans to launch a closed beta program in March by inviting industry partners to test its AI tools. The test results is expected to be share by May according to the company. While talking about AI Studio, Cheng described it as a “startup” operating under Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’s “two pizza team” philosophy — keeping the group small enough to be fed by two pizzas.  They have created a smaller creative and business contingent team primarily consists of product engineers and scientists. It appears that Amazon is publicly embracing AI in response to spiraling production budgets as it limits the number of shows and films companies can finance.  Further confirming that this technology will fast-track certain processes…  Read MoreBusiness Archives – Trak.in – Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

India-US trade pact to open $30T market for Indian exporters: Goyal

The proposed India–US trade framework could give Indian exporters access to a $30-trillion market with potential benefits for MSMEs, farmers and fishermen, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday.Goyal added that higher export activity could generate lakhs of employment opportunities, particularly for women and young workers. In a social media post, the minister said India had reached a framework for an interim agreement with the United States under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the arrangement would reduce reciprocal US tariffs on Indian goods to 18%, creating new opportunities for sectors such as textiles and apparel, leather and footwear, plastics and rubber products, organic chemicals, home décor, handicrafts, and select machinery.Tariffs on a range of products—including generic pharmaceuticals, gems and diamonds, and aircraft parts—are also expected to fall to zero, which Goyal said would strengthen India’s export competitiveness and support domestic manufacturing initiatives.India would additionally receive exemptions on certain aircraft parts, tariff rate quotas on auto components, and negotiated access for generic pharmaceuticals, measures that the minister said could translate into measurable export gains. At the same time, Goyal noted that the framework seeks to protect sensitive agricultural and dairy segments by excluding products such as maize,…  Read MoreYourStory RSS Feed

Private Players, Not HAL Will Manufacture Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft

In a major shift for India’s defence manufacturing, state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has been excluded from the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) prototype development project, marking one of the biggest moves towards private sector involvement in building next-generation fighter jets. The AMCA programme — envisioned to produce an indigenous fifth-generation stealth fighter — is now competing among private industry players including Tata Advanced Systems, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Forge, with the final contract expected to go to the lowest bidder. Why HAL Was Sidelined HAL’s exclusion marks a departure from the longstanding practice where the state-owned defence enterprise was the default choice to build India’s indigenous high-end fighter aircraft. The decision isn’t about capability alone but commercial criteria — particularly the requirement that a bidder’s order book must not exceed three times its annual revenue. HAL’s extensive existing orders reportedly put it out of contention. This implies a calculated gamble by the Indian government to tap private sector efficiency and competitiveness to accelerate the AMCA’s trajectory and introduce fresh dynamics into defence R&D and manufacturing. The Contenders: Private Sector Takes the Lead Three private sector groups have been shortlisted: A consortium led by the Tata Group, notable…  Read MoreBusiness Archives – Trak.in – Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

Tata-Airbus Make India’s 1st 100% Make In India Military Aircraft

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to officiate the rollout of the first military transport aircraft assembled in India by the Tata-Airbus joint venture later this year, marking a significant milestone in the country’s defence manufacturing journey. A Milestone for “Make in India” in Aerospace The aircraft in focus is the Airbus C295, a medium-lift military transport aircraft that will be delivered to the Ministry of Defence following its assembly at the Vadodara facility in Gujarat — a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Airbus Defence and Space. This rollout is expected in the second half of 2026, with PM Modi likely to preside over the event. This is the first “Made in India” project from Tata-Airbus’ Vadodara assembly line, reflecting a significant step toward self-reliance in aerospace manufacturing. High Local Content and Production Plans In manufacturing the C295 aircraft, approximately 70 % of components are sourced in India, while the remaining 30 % — including engines supplied by Pratt & Whitney (U.S.) — are imported. Under India’s contract with the Defence Ministry: 16 aircraft have already been delivered from Airbus’ Spanish facility. 40 aircraft are scheduled to be produced and delivered from the Vadodara line, forming the…  Read MoreBusiness Archives – Trak.in – Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

India Is Suddenly ‘Ready’ To Buy US-Based Boeing Aircrafts Worth Rs 7 Lakh Crore

India is signalling its readiness to place large-scale aircraft orders worth up to $80 billion with Boeing, the U.S. aerospace giant, as part of an expanding trade relationship with the United States. The proposed aircraft purchases are tied to a broad bilateral U.S.–India trade deal that’s moving toward formal signing, reflecting deeper economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries. What the $80 Billion Figure Means Reportedly, India’s aircraft demand alone could reach $70–80 billion, according to statements by Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry. If additional products like engines, parts and accessories are included, total aviation-related imports from the U.S. may exceed $100 billion. These figures have been cited in multiple market and trade reports as part of the evolving U.S.–India trade narrative. Though the orders are “yet to be placed,” the indication of such large-value procurement serves as one of the potential headline elements of the expected deal framework. Formal aircraft purchase agreements — covering delivery schedules, financing and supplier commitments — would likely emerge after the trade pact is signed. Trade Deal Context The suggested Boeing orders come alongside a broader trade understanding between New Delhi and Washington set to be formalised in mid-March 2026.…  Read MoreBusiness Archives – Trak.in – Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

5 Reasons Why Ola, Uber, Rapido Drivers Are On National Strike Today (February 7)

Drivers for major app-based ride-hailing platforms including Ola, Uber and Rapido are staging a nationwide protest on February 7, 2026, a coordinated action dubbed the “All India Breakdown.” The strike is affecting cabs, auto-rickshaws and bike-taxis across many cities as drivers log off their apps in a show of dissent. 1. Demand for Government-Notified Minimum Fares One of the core demands of protesting drivers is for the government to implement and notify minimum base fares under the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, 2025. Drivers argue that despite these guidelines being in place, authorities have not officially set minimum fare levels, leaving ride-hailing companies free to unilaterally fix low fares, which squeezes driver earnings. Unions say this has resulted in drivers working longer hours for less income amid rising costs. 2. Falling Incomes and Rising Costs Drivers have been complaining that their incomes have become unpredictable and unsustainable due to arbitrary fare cuts set by the platforms themselves. As fuel, maintenance and insurance costs increase, many drivers find that the money they take home is not enough to cover expenses. This financial pressure is one of the key reasons behind the strike, as work in the gig economy becomes less viable without…  Read MoreBusiness Archives – Trak.in – Indian Business of Tech, Mobile & Startups

How India’s Language Diversity Is Shaping Global AI

India is positioned at a rare crossroads of linguistic variety and swift technological acceptance. This mix is reconfiguring the global stage for artificial intelligence in terms of development, deployment, and even scaling. The 1.4 Bn+ population and the multiplicity of languages and dialects make the ‘Indian linguistic landscape’ a challenge as well as an opportunity for AI researchers to build a Human-Centric and Accessible AI system. The Multilingual Terrain: A Complex Dataset The open scale is the most noticeable characteristic of India’s rich diversity in languages: the country acknowledges 22 official languages and many more local and tribal languages.  Language surveys estimate that there are more than 400 different languages spoken on the subcontinent, each of them having its own unique syntax, writing system, and phonetic structure.  Richness in numerical terms is not matched with the digital presence of Indian languages; they still form a very small part of the global AI training data set. The online text documents generated in Indic languages are just about 0.1%, while English constitutes almost 59% of the total web content. This data imbalance has direct repercussions on AI: the models that are mainly trained on English corpora tend to perform poorly in low-resource…  Read MoreInc42 Media

From CRMs to intelligence hubs: How go-to-market is being rebuilt

For years, customer relationship management (CRM) occupied the centre of the go-to-market (GTM) universe. It was positioned as the system where leads were captured, deals were tracked, and revenue forecasts were created. In 2026, however, many GTM leaders are acknowledging a gap between what CRMs were built to do and what modern GTM actually demands. When human judgment was the intelligence layerSoftware sales did not always operate in today’s layered and signal-driven environment. Earlier GTM motions relied heavily on human judgment. Sales and marketing teams manually reviewed engagement data, website visits, and account lists, then decided who to contact and how. Decisions were imperfect, but they were contextual. A human could interpret nuance across multiple systems and act accordingly. That human decision layer is now being replaced.Automation and AI have made it possible to run outbound motions at a massive scale. Emails, LinkedIn messages, and follow-ups can be triggered with little to no human involvement. While this has increased efficiency, it has also flooded buyers with undifferentiated outreach. Attention has become scarce, trust has eroded, and response rates have declined across industries. This creates a contradiction at the heart of modern GTM. Teams are more automated than ever, yet outcomes are harder to…  Read MoreYourStory RSS Feed
